Karen received her bachelor of arts degree from Michigan State University in 1993. In 1998, she received her law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she served on Moot Court. Karen is admitted to practice in the state of Georgia. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Section of Fiduciary Law, Tax Young Lawyers. She is also the President-Elect of the Gate City Bar Association and a member of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.
